God’s system to creating wealth lies in the book of Genesis 1:28 which says; “And God blessed them and said, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish, and subdue, and have dominion over the earth”.

A lot of preachers and teachers of the word of God have often interpreted this chapter to mean being fruitful to produce children. But it does not just stop there. Myles Munroe goes ahead to make an interpretation from the perspective of wealth creation that will help us understand God’s sytem on how we can create wealth and have dominion over earth.

1 Be fruitful. This means you should always be productive by producing a product or service that the world needs.

Every successful company or business we know is, because of being productive; identifying a problem, and developing a product or service as a solution to the problem. Therefore the first step to creating wealth according to God’s system is to identify a problem and provide a solution in a way no one else can. Be the best at providing that solution.

2 Multiply. After producing a product, you should be able to reproduce the same product over and over in terms of quality, reliability and so on. Great companies like Apple inc. have been able to attain enormous wealth because they developed a great product, and were able to reproduce it again and again, and came up with innovative ways to make their products even better over time. The lesson here is to be able to reproduce your product to gain trust and look for innovative ways to make it better in order to be able to withstand competition in the market.

3 Replenish. This means what ever we produce, we should be able to distribute them so that people can have access to the products and buy them.

“We can’t become successful with inventory”. Therefore once you develop a product, develop a distribution channel that is efficient enough to distribute the products.

4 Subdue. This means to control the market. To have dominance in the market and have larger market share. There are so many strategies that you can employ to have a control over the market. For example; branding and marketing which involves building a strong brand image, developing a customer focus, innovation and research, acquisition and mergers, intellectual property rights, scale and efficiency, and so on.

In conclusion, if we can execute God’s system to create wealth by understanding the breakdown of Genesis 1:28 wealth shall be our potion, and man shall have dominion over earth.
